About the Artist

   Emilie Martin is a mixed media illustrator from Newport, Rhode Island earning her BFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

 Her diverse portfolio encompasses a broad range of subjects with an emphasis on editorial and narrative-driven character work. Through the use of vibrant color palettes and dynamic compositions, her work bridges the gap between childhood imagination and adult curiosity. As a lifelong collector of trinkets, Martin finds inspiration in juxtaposing eclectic visual elements in unexpected ways.

     Besides art, other interests of hers include crocheting, spending time with her family dog Obie, and anything that sparkles. ​
